Linda Campbell
A native of Glasgow, Linda moved to Perthshire at the age of 5.
Linda was a student of Visual Arts and Graphics for two years before beginning work as a trainee lampworker at Caithness Glass in February 2000. Her skills as a designer and lampworker quickly developed and her first design for the range was launched within her first year at Caithness Glass.
Following the success of this first design, Linda has gone on to create wonderful lampwork paperweights with a variety of themes. For each new collection Linda meticulously researches her chosen subject and this has led to a variety of themes in her Collections from the ancient art of Feng Shui to the myths and traditions of the Cherokee tribes.
Linda is also a regular contributor to the annual Scottish Glass Society Exhibition, submitting unique one-off designs that are always much admired.
When she is not hard at work in the lampwork studio, Linda likes to take time out to paint and in the winter she can often be found on the slopes of Glenshee where she enjoys the sport of snowboarding.
