A beloved farm animal comes to life inside this crystal dome. Using centuries-old techniques, our Scottish artisans hand-sculpt the fluffy ewe, capturing wooly coat textures and gentle features. Handcrafted details delight collectors and nature lovers.
Crafting Method: The sheep's body is made first by rolling molten glass in white colour and then indenting the surface with a copper tube. The head is then coloured and shaped and dropped onto the body. The next stage is to make the ears, round blobs of black glass are stuck to the side of the head and then heated and flattened, finally the eyes and nostrils are melted on with a stick of black colour glass and a torch.
