Commemoratives

Special edition paperweights marking significant events, ideal for collectors and memorable gifts.

The Caithness Glass Commemorative paperweight collection honours the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served their country, offering a lasting tribute to remembrance. Handcrafted by skilled artisans in Scotland, each paperweight in this collection features the iconic poppy, a powerful symbol of the blood shed in war. Inspired by the poppies that bloomed on the battlefields of Flanders during World War I, these pieces serve as a poignant reminder of the lives lost and the courage displayed in times of conflict. Commemorating Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, observed annually on 11th November, this collection offers a meaningful way to reflect on the sacrifices made by men and women throughout history. The striking red of the poppy is captured in exquisite detail, making these paperweights not only a beautiful work of art but also a powerful emblem of remembrance. Perfect as a thoughtful gift or a lasting addition to your own collection, each paperweight in the Commemorative series embodies a deep sense of respect and reflection. Whether displayed in the home or given as a token of remembrance, these glass pieces offer a timeless way to honour those who have served and continue to serve their country with courage and dedication.
