Christmas cocktails can put a flourish on any festive celebration whether you’re hosting a dinner party, gathering together friends and neighbours for a few drinks and nibbles, or you just fancy treating yourself to a festive tipple.

Kir royale

A deliciously simple cocktail originating from Dijon, this timeless classic should be served in our  Sharon Champagne flute. The striking design of this Champagne flute will really add to the sense of occasion and is great for champagne cocktails. Originally designed by Frank Thrower in 1971, each stem contains a mouth-blown teardrop bubble.

Ingredients

1 tbsp-25ml cassis

Chilled Champagne or cremant to top up the glass

1 blackberry garnish

Method

Pop your Champagne flute or flutes into the fridge to cool them. Pour the cassis into the chilled flute, then top it up with Champagne or cremant and garnish with a blackberry – et voilà.

 

Sloe gin fizz

A festive take on a sloe gin cocktail, this wintery delight is the perfect combination of tart and sweet. This modern cocktail could soon make its way to the top of your family’s traditional Christmas drinks list!

Ingredients

50ml sloe gin

25ml lemon juice

1 tbsp sugar syrup

Champagne or sparkling wine to top up the glass

lemon or lime garnish

Method

Put the sloe gin, sugar syrup and lemon juice and ice into a cocktail shaker. Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold. Strain into stemless copa party glasses and garnish with a lemon or lime twist.

 

Alcohol-free passion fruit martini

A fizzy, fruity mocktail with a hint of spice. This alcohol-free drink will leave you feeling festive.

 

Ingredients

2 passion fruits cut into halves

The juice of one lemon

1 egg white

100ml alcohol-free spirit

2 tsp sugar syrup

ice

sparkling grape juice

Method

Remove the flesh from the four passion fruit halves into a cocktail shaker. Add the lemon juice, egg white, spirit and syrup and shake well, until frothy.

Add the ice, then shake again until the outside of the shaker feels cold. Strain the mocktail into two martini glasses and top up the mixture with grape juice. Baileys cocktail

Fans of this creamy tipple will love this epic evening cocktail. A traditional Christmas drink, this indulgent cocktail is bound to impress your guests this festive season.

 

Ingredients

25ml Baileys

25ml coffee liqueur

25ml vodka

25ml double cream

A coffee bean or chocolate shavings to garnish

Method

Mix the Baileys, coffee liqueur, vodka and double cream in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake it until the outside of the shaker is cold. Strain the cocktail and serve our Limelight Mitre Champagne Saucer or our Gatsby Cocktail Saucer

 

Christmas spiced negroni

This spiced negroni sums up Christmas in a cocktail with warming spices and festive garnishes.

Ingredients

25ml spiced gin (think cinnamon, cardamon, cloves)

25ml Campari

25ml vermouth (sweet)

Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an orange wedge or twist

Method

Mix 25ml each of spiced gin, Campari and vermouth into an all rounder, heavy bottomed glass and garnish with a cinnamon stick and orange wedge or twist. Serve in a tumbler for a no fuss approach or in our Elevate Cocktail Saucer to add a touch of sophistication.
